The Christian message is staggering and unique. God Himself breaks into time and space in the Person of Jesus Christ on the greatest rescue operation ever undertaken since time began.
He said: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” (Luke 4:18-19)
The message of Jesus is transformational and life giving – He brings forgiveness and reconciliation with God into our broken lives and gives us the opportunity of a lifetime: to have a relationship with the living God, finding love, peace, hope and joy.
He does this through the death and resureection of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ and we are saved through faith in Him alone.
